Let me introduce myself…

On The Hour was founded in December, 2024 after I left a corporate job I only worked for 5 months, but this is not where my entrepreneurial journey started.

I created my first small business while I was a senior in high school during the COVID 19 pandemic. As I’m sure you know, enduring the pandemic was no easy feat. Considering I’m a super social person, the pandemic was horrible on my mental health. To escape the chaos that was online school trapped in my house, I decided to open a handmade jewelry store. I fell in love with entrepreneurship but more importantly, the marketing side of things. I loved creating engaging content for my store and growing my own community. I even wrote all of my college essays on the experience of running my first business!

Naturally, I went to college and studied business. I attended Grand Valley State University where I got my B.B.A. in Marketing. When attending GVSU I participated in many entrepreneurial activities such as classes, incubators, attended pitch competitions, visited major entrepreneurial hubs, it was a blast!

I went corporate upon graduation, and very quickly learned my passion was marketing but not in a 9-5 cubicle kind of way. I like to think outside of the box, and decided to take a leap of faith by starting my own freelance marketing agency.

On The Hour has now been in business over a year, and I couldn’t be more grateful to work with the most incredible entrepreneurs and help share their stories!
